Can I throw up now or do I have to wait until after class? I love this. I'm 33 and getting ready to go teach a bunch of 18 year olds and I'm the one that's nervous.

nervousness is totally understandable (and quite common)...i found that the nervousness/anxiousness i felt before each performance was the key to me knowing i was doing something i LOVED -- if i still got this excited about it after the X thousandth performance, then i was meant to be doing it. plus, the butterflies are what enable you to be the best you can be up there, rather than an automaton teacher who doesn't pique the students' interest.
you'll do great!

Thank you all for the support. SMN-that thought crossed my mind, that would definitely be worst case scenario.
jennasuz- I actually did sleep last night but I had the most messed up dreams. I dreamed that I was house sitting and I flooded the house. Like literally filled it up with water and then had to break the window to let out the water. As all the water flooded out of the house it created a storm that completely tore all the siding off one side of the house but it also completely restructured the landscape (for the better) but when the owners came home all they could do was see the damage to the house and not how the rest of the world had improved. It was weird and frustrating... and they made me pay their insurance deductable.

chris, i actually DID flood someone's house when i was housesitting. unfortunately, i didn't restructure the landscape for the better...i basically drowned all their plants. luckily i was 7, so they didn't make me pay their insurance deductible.
worst part: the person i was housesitting for was my TEACHER! needless to say, i was nobody's teacher's pet that year :-)

Well, I'm glad mine was just a dream. I couldn't afford it otherwise... and I had to let the water out or someone was going to drown... (details are a little hazy)
