She Said Yes!

So on Friday I picked up the Blonde Lady from the train station and instead of taking her back to my apartment I took her to a little B&B not too far away where we could hide from the world.  It was a great place; nice, big, comfy bed, Jacuzzi tub, built in something like 1700 (I don’t think the Jacuzzi was original…).  We had a glass or two of some really nice wine and with very little arm twisting she agreed…to be my wife.

Holy Shit… I’m engaged.

Anyway, after celebrating her answer and over the course of the next two days, we spent a few hours in the tub (you can make a LOT of bubbles in a Jacuzzi tub with a little bit of bubble bath), picked out a ring, ate a lot of good food, cuddled, marveled at the idea of being engaged, and this morning we each had a wonderful 90 minute massage.  She got a hot stone massage and I went for the deep tissue, hoping it might release my lower back a little.  And then sadly made our way back to the real world, where we now have to plan this monster called a wedding.  We’re looking at August right now because after that my schedule gets really crappy for about 9 months…  It also looks like we’ll be getting an apartment together in the end of May.  So Lots of changes.  Yeah, and did I mention August? Yikes! That’s only 6 months away!

So I guess if I can’t go to India in August, this will give me something to do…
