A New Path

Things are a-changin'. This morning was the first time I've practiced in I don't know how long. Lauren and I are now all moved in and we just have to finish unpacking. We have created a room reserved for yoga and meditation that I was able to use for the first time this morning. It's a really great space I just have to be careful that I don't irritate my downstairs neighbors with the thumping. It helps me focus on gentle landings :-) The semester is done at school and as soon as they uncrash the computer system I'll get the grades turned in for my classes. Speaking of crashing computers... Mine went down a couple of weeks ago and I still don't have it back... I got it back for a few hours and then it crashed again so back to Toshiba... I was able to save a lot of my stuff but I lost all my music (about 20gb worth) in the second crash. Needless to say I'm not super excited about that. Work is stressful right now due to poor planning and I'm concerned that a bunch of us are going to end up covering because of one person's procrastination.

I have to admit I really love our new apartment and living with the Lauren. Getting to see her everyday really makes for a better me. The picture above is the trail that I take to work. It's a lovely short walk or ride in, and being I got rid of my SUV when L bought her new car I am officially a pedestrian.

We also have a honey bee hive in the wall of our living room that ocassionally puts out a swarm (mostly outside) when a new queen is hatched (See Picture Left). L and I helped the beekeeper catch the first two swarms and the next one will be ours once we get the hive for it. So we'll soon have the beginnings of our own apiary, mmm... Honey!
