Wandering Mind

Practice was… not what I wanted it to be.  I’ve been away from it for too long and I knew going in it wouldn’t be strong but I wasn’t ready for the screaming of the citta vrtti.  I’ve just come off of 5 very long weeks at work and my boss has been less than supportive.  I’ve just started a week vacation but I still have work to do so I’m not sure I’ll really count it as vacation.  Might just do three days off.  I hope to get back to the mat later today and try it again.  With everything that’s been going on, I’m finding it easier to find stillness in the chaos but unfortunately that chaos is finding my way into my stillness.  Hmm…

Wedding – 4 weeks from today… Seems to be things are going well.  We’re meeting with a Unitarian minister tomorrow, the guest list is smaller than we originally thought so that will be nice, too.  I still haven’t figured out what I’m going to wear…  Hope to do that this week on my mock vacation.

Trying to create a routine again that isn’t get up-go to work-go to bed…
